The Friends of Newcastle are looking for volunteers to support their work in the recovery garden. The recovery garden was developed in 2013 as a mental health community initiative. it depicts the road to recovery for some one experiencing mental illness or stress. The garden is in the centre of newcastle hospital and is used by patients and their families. The grounds of newcastle are extensive with acres of trees and grass. There is also a sensory garden.

We need volunteers to help with the maintenance of the both the recovery garden and the sensory garden.

no gardening experience is necessary.
