I was eighteen when I was admitted to Newcastle Hospital. It was the worst time of my life.I felt that I was completely alone, with no one to help me. It took me weeks to recovery from my break down. Five years on I feel better about myself. I can never go back to where I was but I am learning to cope with schizophrenia. Everyday is difficult but I manage to get by with the help from the services.
